It became evident when we first started working with Preston that he was not just trying to sell us a house, but rather, he truly wanted to find us a home! There is so much effort, energy, and emotion that goes into the home buying process as a buyer. We worked so hard over several years to ensure that we were personally and financially prepared for this moment. To state we were extremely excited about purchasing our first home would be a massive understatement. Never in a million years did we think a realtor could match the level of effort or care we placed into the buying process; however, Preston quickly exceeded our expectations. Preston became a part of this journey with us, and it felt as if he were family every step of the way. We never felt pressured or pushed into making a decision that we were not comfortable with. Finding someone who you can trust is hard, but finding someone who will care as much as you do about the process is near impossible. Preston exceeded all of our expectations! Throughout the process, he continued to look out for our best interest as buyers and more importantly as people. Not only was he as emotionally invested as us, but he was also extremely knowledgeable about the buying process. He gives thoughtful answers to questions and explains procedures/next steps in an educationally-friendly way. One of Preston’s greatest strengths as a realtor is his understanding of the construction and foundation of a home. He is so well versed in this area. He would share with us if he saw any potentially concerning items in a home and what to look out for. I can't say enough about my experience working with Preston. My wife and I were previously renting a property that we assumed we would be in for a while longer. All of a sudden, our landlord informed us they wanted to sell within a month. We have a dog, and are expecting our first child next year. So, we did not want to purchase the condo we were living in. After a bit of panic, I reached out to Preston. Having already known him, and his character, I was infinitely more at ease than if I had to work through someone I didn't know. Upon reaching out to Preston, he responded almost immediately, while squashing some of my concerns (relatively low budget, low down payment). Within a week, we had viewed 8 homes, with 2 incredible options on our final viewing day. With a difficult decision to make, Preston used his market expertise to walk us through both options. It turns out that he was correct in his assumption. The home we ended up making an offer on, we got for below listing, and even got concessions, which is incredible in this market. All the while, the other home had a bidding war the drove the price up substantially. Throughout the closing process, Preston was still just as quick to communicate, and continued to work with us to get us in the best position possible before closing. I cannot say enough about the experience of working with him. All I can say is that I would never consider working with anyone else when it comes to searching for a home. He's a stand up guy who genuinely cares about his clients. Thanks for finding us our first "home" to welcome our first child into!
